Generalist Clinician
Salary: DOE

Mental health therapist needed for outpatient community mental health center in Leadville, CO.
This is a full time position. Clinician will provide full continuum of clinical
assessment and services for community mental health center clients. Client
population includes adults, adolescents, children and families.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initial mental health assessment and documentation
- Strengths-based service planning and intervention
- Linkage and brokering of services within the community
- Mental health crisis assessment and intervention
- Mental health consultation to interagency teams and schools
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mental health field
- Prefer two years experience in community mental health
- Prefer eligibility for Colorado licensure
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Flexibility in working with a variety of populations
- Ability to shift roles and work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented
- Familiarity with the DSMIV and the ability to assess psychological disorders
- Good documentation skills

Criminal Justice Clinical Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Criminal Justice Clinical Specialist will be the agency point of contact for criminal justice agency referrals; provide coordination with referring criminal justice agencies; provide direct case management and other services; provide, where indicated, direct clinical assessment and treatment services for offenders; ongoing communication/reporting and collaboration with referring criminal justice agency to ensure offender compliance with services; assure that data required for the evaluation of this program is submitted in a timely manner. CJCS will cover four counties. Travel required.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in behavioral health or related field; 2-5 years experience; Colorado license or Colorado licensure eligible; working knowledge base of computer programs such as Word and Excel; flexibility in working with community agencies and offender population; good documentation and communication skills; knowledge of community resources.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:
- Excellent mental health assessment and service planning skills for offenders with behavioral health needs. Ability to coordinate with multiple criminal justice systems to meet goals of the program. Excellent documentation and organizational skills for tracking and monitoring. Preferred Skills: minimum 2 years experience and experience working with substance use disorders. Prefer CAC certification.
